Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 8, 2026

Welcome to Keep the Music Alive ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at keepthemusicalive.net (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About Keep the Music Alive

Keep the Music Alive is an independent promotional brand that highlights music festivals, events, and gatherings across North America. The Site is informational and promotional in nature. We do not own, operate, produce, sponsor, host, sell tickets to, or otherwise participate in the production of any festival or event listed on the Site unless explicitly stated.

2. Third-Party Links and Content

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including festival and event organizers' websites, ticketing platforms, and partner sites (collectively, "Third-Party Sites"). These links are provided for your convenience and informational purposes only.

We do not control Third-Party Sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, pricing, ticket fulfillment, refunds, lineups, schedule changes, cancellations, safety, or any goods or services they offer. Your use of any Third-Party Site is governed solely by that site's own terms and privacy policies. We strongly encourage you to review them before purchasing tickets or providing any personal information.

The inclusion of a festival, event, or link on the Site does not constitute an endorsement, warranty, or recommendation of any particular Third-Party Site or its operator.

3. No Tickets, No Refunds

We do not sell tickets. All ticket sales, transfers, refunds, exchanges, and customer service inquiries are the sole responsibility of the festival organizer or its designated ticketing provider. Any disputes regarding tickets, attendance, event experience, or refunds must be directed to the relevant organizer.

4. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that festival dates, locations, descriptions, and links displayed on the Site are accurate, but we make no representation or warranty that any information on the Site is current, complete, or error-free. Festival lineups, dates, locations, and availability are subject to change without notice by their organizers. You are responsible for confirming all event details directly with the festival organizer before making travel or purchase decisions.

5. Intellectual Property

The Site, including its design, text, graphics, layout, and the "Keep the Music Alive" name and marks, is owned by us and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Site or its content without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

Festival names, logos, artwork, and other marks belong to their respective organizers and are used on the Site for identification and promotional reference only. No affiliation or endorsement is implied unless expressly stated.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or networks;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site;
  • Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Site, except for legitimate search-engine indexing;
  • Misrepresent the Site or impersonate Keep the Music Alive, its representatives, or any festival organizer.

7. Newsletter and Submissions

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you consent to receive periodic emails from us about featured festivals and related content. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email. If you submit information or suggestions (e.g., suggesting a festival for inclusion), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and publish that material in connection with the Site, subject to our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, INFORMATION, AND LINKS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE OF ERRORS OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KEEP THE MUSIC ALIVE, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY THIRD-PARTY SITE LINKED FROM IT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, TRAVEL EXPENSES, EVENT CANCELLATIONS, TICKET DISPUTES, OR PERSONAL INJURY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Keep the Music Alive and its owners, operators, affiliates, and contributors from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
